不是每位脊醫都能懂得和有專業資格為病人進行Schroth脊椎側彎治療法。所有 Schroth 治療師都需要到德國 Asklepios Katherina Schroth Klink骨科復康中心接受正統 訓練,並須通過實習和考試,才可成為認可的 Schroth脊椎側彎治療師。現時,全世界約有60位的被認可的Schroth治療師,本診所的王漢榮脊醫是其中之一。

每位脊椎側彎病人來到香港脊骨神經醫務中心,脊醫會因應病人的情況和需要設計一套針對性的治療計劃。 由於治療計劃是根據病人脊椎側彎的嚴重程度、位置、影響性、日常生活習慣等因素而決定,因此每位病人所接受的治療內容會有所不同。治療內容大致上包括:
先進行一個全面的評估,目的是了解病人脊椎側彎的位置、側彎度數、病發時段和原因,以及其他個人背景資料,從而協助醫生制訂切合病人需要的治療計劃、目標和 Schroth Method的運動治療內容。
脊椎側彎的評估方法:
Schroth脊椎側彎治療法是一種風險低,但又能夠有效地改善側彎度數、姿勢、外觀、背痛等問題的治療方法,現已廣泛被歐洲醫生作為治療脊椎側彎之用。本診所的王漢榮脊醫已到德國完成Schroth脊椎側彎治療法訓練及正式成為被認可的Schroth治療師。在整個治療過程中,王漢榮脊醫會指導病人進行不同針對脊骨的運動和正確呼吸方法,從而改善脊椎側彎所帶來的問題。本醫務中心一共設有兩間獨立的 Schroth 脊骨側彎冶療室,冶療室內有齊所需設備,方便病人進行Schroth的運動治療。
為針對不同的症狀及患者本身的體格, 本診所特別提供多種不同的脊醫治療。由一 般的脊骨矯正手法治療外, 還會用到一些特別的醫療儀器如:3D牽引床、整脊槍等。目 的是舒緩脊椎側彎所帶來的各種痛症。
Schroth 脊骨側彎治療法是適合7-8歲或以上患有脊骨側彎症的人士。 任何脊椎側彎度數(Cobb Angle)、有或沒有佩戴矯形梏具、手術前,以 及手術後均可接受Schroth治療。
不是。根據臨床經驗,Schroth脊椎側彎治療法是適用於成年人士及年紀偏大的人士,而且他們的脊骨側彎亦有明顯改善。可是,由於成年患者較遲接受治療,肌肉也較為堅硬,因此他們的療程時間也理應較長。
在醫學上,沒有任何一種治療可以百份之一百保證對脊椎側彎症有成效, 包括手術, 側彎架或一些運動治療, 但如果可以長期做一些特定的 Schroth運動和Schroth呼吸技巧,大多數的患者都會看見或感受到自己外觀, X-RAY上的脊椎弧度或本身一些其他部位的痛 症也大大改善。
這要根據病人脊椎側彎的嚴重程度、位置,以及接受治療的頻密程度而定。我們大部分病人都會接受脊醫的建議每星期進行5-6次Schroth 的特定運動,每次30分鐘至1小時,大約1 個月後便會見到效果。
正確。 Schroth 是一個特別的脊椎側彎治療法, 它可以融合於在平常工作及生活中, 從而可以令患者學懂怎樣改善其脊彎症。
